Neil Agustin
As one of the co-founders of Kalma Events LLC, Neil has a deep connection to both his Filipino heritage and the vibrant Hawaiian culture. Born and raised in the beautiful islands of Hawaii, Neil's upbringing instilled in him a strong sense of community and celebration. In both Filipino and Hawaiian traditions, gatherings and parties were central to family life, and Neil experienced this firsthand throughout his childhood and adulthood.
Growing up, Neil found himself naturally drawn to hosting and planning events. Whether it was a birthday celebration, a graduation party, or a backyard gathering, he discovered a passion for orchestrating memorable experiences. He cherished the opportunity to see family and friends come together, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories. Neil's love for event planning and his dedication to preserving the spirit of community celebrations played a pivotal role in the establishment of Kalma Events LLC.
Marinel Agustin Torres
The other co-founder of Kalma Events LLC, shares Neil's deep-rooted connection to both Filipino and Hawaiian cultures. Her upbringing in Hawaii emphasized the importance of family gatherings and celebrations, mirroring the values of warmth, togetherness, and hospitality found in Filipino traditions.
Marinel's journey into event planning began early in life, as she, too, found joy in hosting and coordinating various events. From birthdays to anniversaries, her passion for planning and her ability to create meaningful experiences became evident. As an event designer, Marinel is dedicated to bringing people together and ensuring that every celebration is a reflection of the client's vision.
